Fleur Cardinale 2017年被霜凍重創——幾乎所有的葡萄園都遭殃,產量僅得 1,000 瓶大瓶裝 (Magnum)。
在非常深的紫黑色裏,洋溢着烘焙黑莓、黑櫻桃和桑葚乾的香氣,中間滲雜一點灌木叢、松露和五香料的味道。 口感中等至濃郁,天鵝絨般絲滑,黑色水果作主調,收結帶有香料的韻味,餘韻悠長。


It was Florence Decoster, the present owner, who first nurtured that idea and brought it to fruition in the year 2000. Her husband, Dominique, having just completed the sale of his Limoges porcelain business, Haviland, had his doubts. “And now buy a vineyard?” he wondered slightly perplexed. But slowly the idea grew on him, and finally Florence and Dominique, both of them are lovers of nature and fine dining, became enamoured with their new plan.

Arriving for the first time at the Château Fleur Cardinale estate, which is located on a limestone plateau just a few miles from the historic village of Saint-Emilion, Florence and Dominique were amazed by the beauty of the place and its surrounding countryside. They acquired the property in May 2001.

Fleur Cardinale was hit very hard by the frost—nearly all the vineyards were wiped out. Potential production for 2017 is only around 1,000 magnums.
Very deep purple-black in color, it has a nose of baked blackberries, black cherries and dried mulberries with touches of underbrush, truffles and Chinese five spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, velvety and packed with black fruits, finishing long and spicy.
