酒莊於1731年由Michel Bouchard於布蒙(Beaune)成立，可說是布爾岡其中一家歷史最悠久的葡萄酒莊。為了在Côte d'Or建立一個非凡的酒莊，他們於19世紀及20世紀初，收購了不少優秀的酒村。如今酒莊坐擁130公頃的葡萄園，12個特級園(Grand Cru)，74個一級園(Premier Cru)。
Clos de la Mousse 歷史悠久，可以追溯到 1220 年。在法國大革命期間，這片優秀的葡萄園被瓜分了。直至 19 世紀，Bouchard 家族逐步購買這些精緻的葡萄園。 3.36 公頃的 Clos de la Mousse 於 1872 年合而為一。從那時起，這個 一級園(Premier Cru) 就一直是 Bouchard Pere & Fils 所獨有。

2017 年 Beaune 1er Cru Clos de la Mousse 散發出濃郁的煙燻黑果香、泥土氣息和烘焙朱古力的香氣。隨後是中等至飽滿的酒體，由和諧的酸度和柔順而豐富的單寧建構而成。 試飲桶酒時，曾描述這酒「開放和早熟」，這判斷應用在瓶中仍然正確。

Founded in 1731 in Beaune by Michel Bouchard, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, perpetuating tradition for 9 generations.  The desire to build up an exceptional estate in Côte d’Or and acquisitions in the best Villages throughout the 19th century and early 20th century. Today the estate boasts 130 hectares of vines, 12 are classed Grand Cru and 74 classed as Premier Cru.
The oldest trace of Clos de la Mousse dates back to 1220, during the Revolution, this fine vineyard became divided up. In the 19th century, the Bouchard family bought several vineyards of the delicate cru. The 3.36 hectares of Clos de la Mousse were brought togetherin 1872. This Premier Cru has been the monopoly of Bouchard Pere & Fils ever since.

Manual harvest in small cases. Fermentation in smaller containers, gentle pressing. Mature in French oak for 12-14 months, with 30% - 40% new oak. The cellars located in the Bastions of the ancient Château de Beaune offer ideal ambient conditions.

The 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Clos de la Mousse reveals a generous bouquet of smoky dark fruit, rich soil tones and baking chocolate, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and gourmand palate, framed by ripe acids and rich but melting structuring tannins. From barrel, I characterized this wine as "open-knit and precocious," and that verdict holds true from bottle.
