酒莊於1731年由Michel Bouchard於布蒙(Beaune)成立，可說是布爾岡其中一家歷史最悠久的葡萄酒莊。為了在Côte d'Or建立一個非凡的酒莊，他們於19世紀及20世紀初，收購了不少優秀的村莊。如今酒莊坐擁130公頃的葡萄園，12個特級園(Grand Cru)，74個一級園(Premier Cru)。
Meursault Genevrieres是一個享負盛名的產區，1855年Lavalle 博士在其知名的著作《Histoire et Statistiques de la Vigne et des Grands Vins de la Cote-d》中，把它列為頂級佳釀(Tête de cuvée)，當時仍未有一級園和特級園這兩個術語。現時Bouchard Pere & Fils在這一級園擁有 2.65 公頃（約 15%）的葡萄園，通常是最先採收Chardonnay的酒莊。

2017 年 的Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières 散發出清脆的安琪梨、杏仁、梅爾檸檬(Meyer Lemon)和淡淡的果仁朱古力香，充滿青春氣息。酒體中等至飽滿，深沉而富有張力，集中力令人印象深刻，證明了木桶的影響力。

Founded in 1731 in Beaune by Michel Bouchard, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, perpetuating tradition for 9 generations.  The desire to build up an exceptional estate in Côte d’Or and acquisitions in the best Villages throughout the 19th century and early 20th century. Today the estate boasts 130 hectares of vines, 12 are classed Grand Cru and 74 classed as Premier Cru.
Meursault Genevrieres is a prestigious appellation that was classified as a
"Tete de cuvee" as early as 1855 by Dr Lavalle in his renowned book "Histoire et
Statistiques de la Vigne et des Grands Vins de la Cote-d'Or". At that time, the terms Premiers Crus and Grand Crus were not in use. Bouchard Pere & Fils owns 2.65 hectares (about 15%) of Meursault Genevrieres, often the first Chardonnay to be harvested on the estate.

Vinification: 
Manual harvest in small cases. Mature in French oak for 9 -10 months, with up to 15% new oak, and for 3-4 months in stainless steel vats. The cellars located in the Bastions of the ancient Château de Beaune offer ideal ambient conditions.

Youthfully reticent aromas of crisp Anjou pear, blanched almonds, Meyer lemon and hints of praline introduce the 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières, a medium to full-bodied, deep and tensile wine that's impressively concentrated and nicely defined. This confirms its strong showing from barrel.
