Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Clos Saint Jean 2018 (AM:90)

1985年，Laurence Gagnard繼承了Domaine Gagnard-Delagrange的一部分，然後與丈夫Richard Fontaine-Jacques創立了酒莊。
Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard 一直向前，至今擁有 12 公頃的葡萄園，主要位於 Chassagne-Montrachet，另外於 Volnay 和 Pommard 亦有小量地塊。三分之二的葡萄用於白酒，三分之一用於紅酒。

隱約的煙燻味把柑橘等果味稍為掩蓋，如果新鮮飲用的話，建議要盡快醒酒。酒體中等，帶來細膩的衝擊，餘韻清爽乾淨。數年後應該會更有深度、更好喝。(品飲於2020年)

Founded in 1985 by Laurence Gagnard and her husband Richard Fontaine- Jacques after Laurence inherited part of Domaine Gagnard-Delagrange. Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard has not stopped growing and today it has 12 hectares of vineyards located mainly in Chassagne-Montrachet, as well as a few plots in Volnay and Pommard. Two-thirds of production is devoted to white wine, one-third to red.

Whiffs of smoky reduction overshadow the underlying fruit that wisps of citrus do escape the fun so I would suggest a quick aeration if you're going to try a bottle young. The mouthfeel of the middle weight flavors is slightly finer with good punch that carries over to the clean and dry finish. This could use a bit more depth, but more should develop if held for a few years first. (Tasted in 2020.)
