作為Chateau Haut-Bailly的副牌, La Parde de Haut Bailly現已陳年十多年,在瓶中醒酒大概半小時至四十五分鐘後,竟然比想像中年輕有活力,味道帶深沉緊緻的黑果,滲著如石墨的香氣,帶實線條的單寧,香氣上帶點涼快的礦物感,這確實是Haut Bailly酒莊典型的風格,沒想到副牌也不是省油的燈,酒體,香氣和味道約在一到一個半小時(瓶內醒酒)後才能完全展開。開瓶前最好先把酒的溫度降至攝氏15.5度,才能帶出最平衡的香氣和口感,我覺得副牌已表達了正牌酒的風格,只是韌力和正牌當然還有三,四成的距離,而副牌是低三倍的價錢,風格上已非常嚴僅,絕對對得住喜歡口感扎實,帶點典型Pessac Leognan層次感的飲家,正牌固然非常精彩,但副牌確實物值非常高,作為想一睹Haut Bailly風格的,La Parde de Haut Bailly絕對值得一試!(Tasted on: 3/7/18)

La Parde Haut-Bailly Château Haut-Bailly的副牌酒。
該酒1967年初創名為Domaine de la Parde酒,當時它是波爾多酒中的一等副牌酒之一。1979年改為現在的 La Parde de Haut-Bailly,之後通過多年來自身風格和特點的發展,逐步獲得該酒的獨立身份。

它的口感特點迷人,優雅而細膩,帶有一種舒服、柔絲般的光滑。它的柔順感和開瓶時的芳香與正牌酒相比,更適合在年輕時飲用。儘管如此,它的結構顯示出其陳放的潛力。

"La Parde Haut-Bailly" is a true second wine and one of the first such wines to be made. Created in 1967, it was originally called "Domaine de la Parde" then in 1979, its name was changed to "La Parde de Haut-Bailly" and simplified in 2011 to "La Parde Haut-Bailly". Made from the grapes of young vines and the best press-wine, it is aged in barrels for twelve months and subjected to the same rigorous selection controls as the first wine.
Over time, La Parde Haut-Bailly has developed its own special personality, displaying a pleasant silky texture on the palate and achieving a style of charm, elegance, and refinement. Although its softness and forward aromas mean it can be drunk sooner than Château Haut-Bailly, it nevertheless has good aging potential.

Tasting Notes:
The 2006 vintage of La Parde de Haut-Bailly has a deep, bright, ruby-red colour and plenty of aromatic purity on the nose, showing hints of black fruit and well-integrated oak. It is fairly close to Château Haut-Bailly thanks to its elegant, well-focused style. Due to its refined, mild tannin, 2006 La Parde de Haut-Bailly is already quite accessible and will be in superb form in five to ten years.
