Louis Max於1859年由Evgueni Louis Max於布爾岡的Nuits-Saint-Georges創立，其後經歷根瘤蚜蟲災害而受到重創，於20世紀初重建。2014年由葡萄酒愛好者Stanko Subotic收購，並找來知名釀酒師David Duband作技術總監。現時葡萄園佔地約230公頃，主要分佈於Côte de Nuits、Côte de Beaune、Chablis和Maconnais等認證產區，部分屬Grand Cru級數，以有機及自然動力法栽種。
Louis Max was founded by Evgueni Louis Max in Nuits-Saint-Georges in 1859. It was devastated by the phylloxera disaster and rebuilt in the early 20th century. In 2014, it was acquired by wine enthusiast Stanko Subotic and renowned winemaker David Duband became the technical director. Today 230 hectares of vineyards are located in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Chablis, Maconnais and other Bourgogne appellations. Some are the Grand Cru vineyards, and the vines are cultivated in organic and biodynamic methods.

Red fruit nose with rasberries and fresh tart cherries, with hints of earth and herbs. Fruity and crispy on the palate, with ripe tannin at the end.
