Pierre Tarlant於Marne Valley種植葡萄樹,而Tarlant家族就於1687年開始釀酒。1928年,Louis Adrien Tarlant生產了第一支家族香檳,其後他們便於OEuilly村出產香檳,延綿四代。時至今日,於1999年傳至Benoît Tarlant手中並開始產酒。
The Tarlant family traces their winegrowing history back to 1687, when Pierre Tarlant first cultivated grapevines in the Marne Valley. In 1928, Louis Adrien Tarlant produced the family’s first estate-bottled champagne, and since then there have been four successive generations of Tarlants producing wine at their estate in the village of OEuilly. Today the estate is in the hands of Benoît Tarlant, who has been making wine here since 1999.

在2004年,葡萄經歷悠長的熟成期,並在九月下旬才收割。這令香檳添了深刻的香氣及完美的平衡,仿如空氣般輕柔,故被命名為L’Aérienne,葡萄選自數個特選葡萄田。這是一支Champagne Brut Nature,即是零加糖香檳。
In 2004, the long maturation of the grapes, harvested late in September, gave an intense aromatic expression and a great balance, almost aerial. hence the name of this wine, L'Aérienne, from a few selected plots. It is a Champagne Brut Nature, that is to say non-dosed.

釀造Vinification:
首次發酵於木桶內進行,無乳酸發酵,全自然發酵。
Slow press by gravity, spontaneous (no yeast added) first fermentation and 6 months on the lees in Burgundian oak-barrel. Parcel by parcel. No malolactic fermentation. Without fining.

品酒筆記Tasting Notes:
金黃色中帶翠綠。氣泡非常細緻。香氣優雅。L'Aérienne展現出糖漬柑橘皮的香氣,而當中也有蜂蜜及烘焙的香氣。明亮而有活力,輕盈而新鮮。
The 2004 Brut Nature l'Aérienne opens in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, green apples, clear honey and wheat toast. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with lively acids, creditable concentration and a youthfully frothy mousse, concluding with a chalky finish. This blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay is quite a delicate, fine-boned offering from Tarlant—as its name implies.
