George's passion is the white grape varieties. He has collected his base of wine-growing in famous wineries of the palatinate and Rheinhessen, which he has further developed into his very personal signature with his own presentation of top dry wines.
Since 2002 he has leaded the wine estate with large investments in wine cellars, stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels from a tank wine operation to one of the leading German top winegrowers.
Anna-Maria is master gardener. Therefore, she has the feeling of plants, soil and nature also like Georg. This is the starting point for a responsible handling of the vines and the agriculture of the ground, the most important resource of the estate.

The soil composition is of the finest example which gives a distinctive mineral finish along with some top whites of the world.

With this basis, and deep rooting with his home it is him to mount the great potential of the Badenheimer and Wollsteiner locations through selective handpicked grapes, reducing the harvest and giving time to ripe.
The result are Riesling and the Pinot family that are unique in Rheinhessen through their multi-layness, straightness and minerality. With this approach Georg also helped the grape scheurebe to a renaisance and has not last made a name with his dry variant.
