Bernard Magrez’s experience in Bordeaux with the Grands Crus Classés and flagships Château Pape-Clément, La Tour Carnet, Clos Haut-Peyraguey and Fombrauge inspired him to explore very high-quality vineyards in Bordeaux, the South East of France and foreign countries.
Bernard Magrez is proud to present “Mon Côtes du Rhône Villages”, a careful blend of Syrah and Grenache Noir from the Gard region. A stone’s throw from Châteauneuf du Pape, vines have been tended around the legendary Camp de César for almost two thousand years. The Mediterranean climate and the brisk Mistral wind blow are ideal for producing powerful, full-bodied wines – and this one is no exception. Subtle, generous and spicy, this wine remains incredibly fresh, time after time.
