Despagne是波爾多一家知名的葡萄酒生產商,亦是懷抱熱情的葡萄農。他們家族紮根於北面的Entre-Deux-Mers已有200多年歷史。
Entre-Deux-Mers字面解作兩海之間,但真正所指的其實是Garonne及Dordogne兩條河流,當地的風土受海潮 Mascaret影響。
如今由 Basaline Despagne 和她的釀酒師兄弟 Thibault 經營。旗下有5個酒莊,佔地約300公頃。
Girolate被酒評家Jancis Robinson譽為 Entre-Deux-Mers superstar採用風土最好的老藤,種植密度更高達每公頃10,000棵。

人工採收,原粒葡萄輕輕壓榨。用野生酵母天然發酵,定期攪拌酒糟。

2018 年白葡萄酒散發白桃、新鮮梨子和黃蘋果的活潑香氣,隨後散發出柚子皮、檸檬蛋黃醬和青檸葉的香氣。酒體中等,口感清脆、乾淨、清爽,具有濃郁的核果和蘋果風味,餘韻結實悠長。

食物配搭:
配海螯蝦和柚子蛋黃醬是一大享受。


Despagne is a well-known wine producer established in Bordeaux, the northern part of the Entre-Deux-Mers, for more than 200 years. They are the passionate winegrowers huddled between 2 rivers, Garonne and Dordogne. The name of Entre-Deux-Mers, comes from the influence of the ocean which materializes by a wave : " the Mascaret".
Today the winery is run by Basaline Despagne and her winemaker brother, Thibault. It consists of 5 estates, around 300 hectares. Girolate, is regarded as "Entre-Deux-Mers superstar" by Jancis Robinson.

Girolate has the best terroirs in the Entre Deux Mers, the vines are also planted to a very high density of 10,000 vines hectare.

Terroir:
Girolate is the name of the "lieu-dit" where the family historically produces its best grapes in the village of Naujan and Postiac. Small clay hillside above a limestone quarry made up of a massal selection of old vines. 

Vinification:
Manual harvesting. Soft pressing in whole grains, long fermentation with indigenous yeasts from the plot. Regular stirring on fine lees.

Aromas of lime blossom, white peach, green apple and cream. It’s medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a creamy texture. Subtle, mineral finish.

The 2018 Blanc delivers vibrant scents of white peaches, fresh pears and yellow apples, followed by suggestions of yuzu zest, lemon curd and lime leaves. The medium-bodied palate is crisp, clean and refreshing, offering a great intensity of stone fruit and apple-inspired flavors with a long, steely finish.

Food Pairing:
A real delight with just-cooked langoustine tails and a mayonnaise flavoured with yuzu powder.
