Terroir:
Due to the southern slope, the Wöllstein vineyard is extremely sheltered from the wind, the grapes always have the greatest ripening advantage here. The high gravel content of the clay warms the soil very easily and gives off the stored heat to the vines for a long time, even at night.
Vinification:
Careful hand-picking, several hours of maceration, gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation. Matured on the lees for 5 months.

Tasting Note:
This mature Riesling reflects the depth and power of the warm Wöllsteiner Äffchen. The delicate and complex scent of peach, passion fruit and wonderful berries is underscored by herbal and spicy aromas reminiscent of mint and lemon balm. A great wine with ingenious aging potential.
