Lagavulin is said to be one of the oldest distilleries on Islay which has been made for over 200 years. Revered by connoisseurs and experts, Lagavulin is known as “the king of Islay” which is famed for its classic Islay style - intensely flavoured, smoky, peaty and rich.
Lagavulin 16 Year Old is the benchmark dram of this iconic distillery. Aged in oak casks for at least 16 years. It has the massive peat-smoke flavour that's typical of southern Islay, while also offering richness and a dryness that turns it into a truly interesting dram.
