來自Wachau的Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler和來自Burgenland的Erich Krutzler於2006年在Wachau開設了自己的酒莊，兩夫婦都來自著名的釀酒家族，他們一起以優質靈魂和個性製作酒品，完全尊重自然和可持續發展的葡萄種植方式。

Pichler-Krutzler的葡萄酒皆突顯純淨，也從不會為品質而妥協。所有酒都充分反映其風土，收成、培養和裝瓶都從不混合其他品種。因為沒加糖、所有發酵的糖份完全來自葡萄汁本身、加上Unfined，所以能如實清楚地表現產地根源，是絕不譁眾取寵的高級手工藝品。

單一葡萄園Pfaffenberg位處多瑙河上的Steiner Pfaffenberg。土壤貧瘠，由結晶原生岩組成，主要是片麻岩和雲母片岩。冷風由西面吹來，形成極大的日夜溫差。Pfaffenberg可說是整個奧地利最佳的Riesling產區，感覺剔透而優雅，沒有任何厚重的感覺。(自2017年開始有機種植)
品酒筆記：
2015年的Pfaffenberg Alte Reben酒體清澈純淨且非常新鮮，複雜的香氣散發出青蘆筍的香氣，以及白石灰和帶香料感的礦物香氣和白色核果香味。口感成熟圓潤，濃烈而複雜，帶有非常年輕緊密的果味，並具有極強生命力的結尾。青蔥且芳香，同時又非常精細而具透明感。
Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler from the Wachau and Erich Krutzler from the Burgenland founded their own wine estate in the Wachau in 2006. Both husband and wife originated from famous wine-making families. Together, they craft wines of great soul and individuality, based on a respect form nature and sustainable viticultural practice.
All this is a continuation of the path that Erich Krutzler set out on in the 1990s when he helped his family estate produce outstanding and characterful red wines in the Südburgenland. This is why a Burgenland Blaufränkisch finds its place in the range alongside Riesling and Grüner Veltliner.
The Pichler-Krutzler wines are pure, unadulterated and made without compromise to quality. Each wine is the reflection of its own terroir, harvested, raised and bottled without blending. Since there is no chaptalization, no juice concentration, no fining or additives of any sort, all the wines express their origins plain and clear. Just high-grade handcraft without any fancy trends.
From a more than 65 years old tiny parcel at the famous Steiner Pfaffenberg the grapes for this remarkable wine are growing. The soils are barren and composed of crystalline primary rock dominated by Gneiss and Mica schist. Solely worked by hand and organic since 2017. In this wines all characteristics of great wine can be found: noble restraint in the youth, enormous density of aromas with great length and extraordinary aging potential.

Ried(Single VIneyard) Pfaffenberg is high above the river Danube on the famous Steiner Pfaffenberg. The soils are barren and are composed of crystalline primary rock dominated by Gneiss and Mica schist. Mostly cool winds are breezing from the west and it is hence exposed to temperature extremes. The Pfaffenberg is supposed to be one of the best places for Riesling in entire Austria. Fine wine are turning up in the glass: transparent and highly elegant without any heaviness or richness. (Organic practice since 2017)
Tasting Notes:
The 2015 Riesling Pfaffenberg Alte Reben is clear, pure and very fresh on the pretty complex nose, offering green asparagus aromas along with chalky and spicy-mineral flavors and white stone fruits. Ripe, round and piquant on the palate, this is an intense and complex Riesling with very young, dense and lean fruit and a great vitality in the finish. This is so lush and aromatic, but also so fine and precise. Great potential.
