Domaine Dujac was founded in 1968 by Jacques Seysses who had learnt the craft at several top wineries such as Domaine de la Romanee-Conti and  Domaine Armand Rousseau.  He produced high-quality wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay based in Morey-Saint-Denis, Burgundy.  In the late 20th Century, Dujac expanded its estate by acquiring premier and grand cru plots in Gevrey-Chambertin and Vosne-Romanee etc. The domaine has retained its winemaking style, whole bunch pressing was used, with small amount of destemming; less new osk is used for younger wines; and are never filtered and seldomly fined.

(Robert Parker's rating: 92 points)
The 2009 Chambolle-Musigny Aux Combottes bursts from the glass with tons of energy. The Combottes has a firm tannic spine to back up the highly expressive fruit. Flowers, spices and juicy red berries are layered into the energetic finish. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. (Issued in 2012)

(Allen Meadows' rating: 90-93 points)
A fresh though very reserved nose that is airy, cool and admirably pure offers up plenty of floral notes along with the muted red berry fruit. The mineral-infused, tight and beautifully well-detailed middle weight flavors possess a lovely serenity on the harmonious, long, balanced and linear finish. This is exquisite and fashioned in an understated style.
