Highland Park有著打破常規的傳統，（創辦人Magnus Eunson是一位在夜間蒸餾和走私威士忌的教堂職員）。就是這種精神，令他們創造出這款大膽而獨特的單一麥芽威士忌。
Twisted Tattoo 16的設計靈感來自北歐傳說中的巨蛇Midgard serpent。包裝非常有特色，由酒廠與丹麥的紋身藝術家Colin Dale聯手打造。
這款16年威士忌用西班牙Rioja紅酒的首充桶，再加上再充桶（refill casks）熟成。這樣的組合是Highland Park的首次嘗試，帶來了獨一無二、風味濃郁又富現代感的單一麥芽威士忌。

Highland Park a tradition of defying convention (the founder Magnus Eunson was a church officer who distill and smuggler whisky at night). That's how they came to create this distinct and bold single malt whisky.

The name and design was inspired by the Norse legend of the Midgard serpent and the packaging was developed with Danish tattoo artist, Colin Dale.

Using first-fill Rioja casks in combination with refill casks was a first for Highland Park and the result is a rich and contemporary single malt whisky with very distinctive character.
