這款酒於 2013 年迎來首度面世。有別於酒莊一貫使用老藤葡萄的傳統,葡萄主要來自 Porrera 斜坡上年輕的葡萄藤 (20042005 2006 年間種植) 以及約 20 年藤齡的葡萄。

儘管使用了較為年輕的葡萄,這款 Ferrer Bobet 2016 卻已展現出飽滿的酒體與扎實的結構,這完全歸功於當地卓越的風土,以及對葡萄的精準篩選。裝瓶前,在 60% 的全新法國橡木桶陳年 9 個月。成功詮釋了 Priorat 經典的紅果、草本與礦物感。這款酒絕對可以被視為 Ferrer Bobet VV 的完美前傳!

This first launch of this bottle was in 2013. Unlike the tradition of the winery to use grapes from old vines, this wine harnesses the vibrant energy of younger hillside vineyards planted between 2004 and 2006, beautifully balanced with 20-year-old vines from the village of Porrera. Despite using grapes of younger age, this Ferrer Bobet 2016 is already full-bodied and well-structured — a testament to the exceptional caliber of the terroir and a meticulous berry-by-berry selection.

The wine successfully elaborates the classic taste of red fruits, herbs and minerality from Priorat. Before bottling, it was aged for 9 months in 60% new French oak barrel. It can be viewed as the prequel of Ferrer Bobet VV!

The 2016 Ferrer-Bobet is also fresher than the 2015, with a little less alcohol and more acidity. It has a beautiful nose of fresh fruit, with cherries and a peachy quality, very subtle oak and spices. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins and vibrant acidity.

Such purity of ripe blackberries and dark cherries, as well as redder, cherry notes, really makes a striking impression on the nose. The fresh florals and leafy nuances are followed by such pure berries and red plums. The tannins are stunning, so polished and perfectly formed, holding super long and fresh. Wow.
