Gros Frère et Soeur家族是布爾岡最古老的葡萄農之一，可以追溯到 1800 年代初。人稱「金盃」，酒莊坐擁大約20公頃的葡萄園，包括最頂級的特級園(Grand crus)：Richebourg、Echezeaux、Grands Echezeaux及Clos Vougeot。
亦有6個一級的葡萄園(Premiers crus)：一個位於Nuits-Saint-Georges的1er cru les Cras, 以及 5個 Vosne-Romanée 1er cru (aux Brûlées, Chaumes, Petits Monts, aux Reignots, Suchots)。
入門級的村酒亦有四個：一個位於 Nuits-Saint-Georges 村，另外3個位於 Vosne-Romanée 村。

Gros Frère et Soeur is one of the oldest families of wine growers in Burgundy, that go back to the early 1800s. Today, the estate covers about 20 hectares of vines, including some of the top vineyards: the Grands Crus ( Richebourg, Echezeaux, Grands Echezeaux and Clos Vougeot ).
There are 6 Premiers crus appellations: Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru les Cras, 5 Vosne-Romanée 1er cru (aux Brûlées, Chaumes, Petits Monts, aux Reignots, Suchots);
3 Vosne-Romanée Village and 1 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village.
The vineyards are farmed according to lutte raisonnée (the reasoned struggle)principles. They use chemicals less often and less aggressively than conventional growers. Also, they believe that low yields are the key to get concentrated wines with pure fruity characters.
Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Rouge - This cuvée comes from the hameau of Concoeur et Corboin, located north of Vosne-Romanée. The Pinot Noirs here were planted by Bernard and cover close to 9 hectares of vines.

Slightly more elegant and cooler aromas are comprised by notes of red currant, violet and a hint of jasmine tea. The delicious and nicely delineated middleweight flavors exude a refreshing salinity on the balanced and lingering finish. This too is worth considering provided you intend to cellar if for a few years first.
