Château de Thésée 2022

FRW0215

At the heart of Touraine Chenonceaux, Loire, south-facing overlooking the Cher, which shows the ancient prestigious terroir character. Everthing done slowly, maceration and fermentation at low temperature to preserve the most subtle nuances of minerals of the site. It was matured 8 months on lees, which shows ample aromatics and remarkable finesse on the finish.

Philippe Gaillard grew up in the neighbouring village and often dreamed about this  property, located on one of the most prestigious vineyard sites in the Cher valley.
