Immich-Batterieberg 是 Mosel 最具歷史的酒莊之一,自 1425 年由 Immich 家族創立及掌舵,直至 1989 年。2009 年由才華洋溢的釀酒師 Gernot Kollmann 及夥伴接手復興。

Batterieberg 是酒莊的獨占園,由 Immich 家族在 1840 年以炸藥炸開整座山壁,開鑿出一道道梯田。在 1868 年的普魯士分級中,它被評為最高級地塊,地位等同特級園。園內的老藤達 80-100年以上高齡,土壤以灰色板岩混石英岩聞名,釀出的 Riesling 結構緊緻、帶有電光石火般的礦物感。

Kollmann 擅長釀造出色的 dry 和 off-dry Riesling。他堅持減少人為干預,不加糖,不濃縮,不去酸,僅在裝瓶前添加少量硫。喝來結構嚴謹,酸度平衡且極具生命力。

Immich-Batterieberg is one of the most historic estates in the Mosel. Founded and helmed by the Immich family since 1425 (until 1989), it was revived in 2009 by the talented winemaker Gernot Kollmann and his partners.

Kollmann is a specialist in dry and off-dry style Riesling. Spontaneous fermentation is the norm and chaptalization, re/de-acidification or any other intervention is forbidden. Sulfur is added in low doses.

Enkircher Batterieberg Riesling are from 80-year-old, ungrafted vines on gray slate with quartzite soils in the upper terraces of the cru. This Riesling offers a super clear, fine, elegant, crystalline and deep bouquet.

The 2018 Enkircher Batterieberg Riesling is very clear, ripe and intense on the concentrated nose but also elegant and provided with spicy slate aromas. The 80-year-old, ungrafted vines on gray slate soils with quartzite elements in the upper terraces of the cru give a crystalline, finessed and elegant but also powerful and intense Riesling of great complexity and length. The finish is very long and fruity and highly promising. However, with 11 grams per liter of residual sugar, this is not the normal Immich style.
