Teapsule - Organic herbs from Crete
Primarily, from Mountain Psiloritis, a UNESCO Geopark. Superior flavour and health properties due to this terroir.
Each herb is hand-picked with care to guarantee the best quality and is EU organic certified, using minimal processing.
The story starts in the Spring of 2021, when the founder, Nikitas, plagued by insomnia, was convinced to try chamomile tea and it works! After two weeks of tedious tea preparation, he and his partner, Ilia, had a revelation while making coffee with a Nespresso machine: what if herbs came in capsules? They experimented with refillable metal capsules and discovered that the pressure and temperature of the Nespresso machine not only made the process quicker but also enhanced the flavor of the herbs.
Inspired, they connected with local producers like Mr. Alexandros,
who had overcome his own challenges to lead a herb cooperative in Crete.
With investor support, they has paved the way for Teapsule's launch in 2024! With high-quality herbs and an eco-friendly design, Teapsule won the championship in the agrifood startup company contest held at the 3rd Cretan Lifestyle Conference.

Selected high-quality organic herbs, high-pressure extraction (19 bar), plus a lower water temperature of 85°C, effectively extract a higher concentration of essential oils, retaining aroma and flavour, allowing you to brew a delicious herbal tea in less than a minute.
