今天的 Viticcio 由 Alessandro Landini 和他的家人跟隨他父親的傳統方式擁有及管理。 Fattoria Viticcio 擴展至 120 公頃,自從2013年開始,整個生產過程轉為有機的方式。葡萄園周圍盡是樹木,包括用來提煉初搾橄欖油的橄欖樹。酒窖內的工作仍主要由人手完成,簡約和純淨是釀造最佳葡萄酒的重要元素。Prunaio用上100% Sangiovese,一部分來自 Montalcino,一方面則由酒莊篩選而來。喝來酒體飽滿,適合長時間陳年,擁有優雅和女性化的感覺。

釀造:
收割後,葡萄於小不鏽鋼缸浸漬72小時。一部分葡萄不會被壓,而是進行整顆粒發酵,這令葡萄酒可以更複雜,風土特色亦可傳達酒中,亦保留了土地的礦物感覺。蘋果酸-乳酸二次發酵於木桶內進行,50%新木桶。

陳年:
於木桶內進行陳年18個月,50%新木桶。

品酒筆記:
紅寶石色,顏色深度高和豐富。複雜的香氣,帶有明顯的煙草、少許黑加侖子、黑莓和甘草。很好的平衡,絲滑而紮實的單寧,持久的味道和香氣。一瓶十分出色的酒,可從陳年更加改進質素。

 

Today Viticcio is owned and managed by Alessandro Landini who, with his family, follows his father’s footsteps. Fattoria Viticcio extends for 120 hectares among the hills of Chianti Classico and Maremma. Since 2013, the entire production has been totally organic. All around are woods and also olive trees for the production of extra virgin olive oil. The work in the cellar is still largely carried out manually. Simplicity and cleanliness are essential elements to obtain a wine that expresses at its best the characteristics of its territory.
Prunaio is a full-bodied wine with 100% Sangiovese, that partly come form Montalcino and partly have already been selected by the fattoria. It has great elegance and femininity at the same time.

Vinification:
The grapes come from vineyards planted with selected clones, managed from the beginning with methods similar to biodynamic. After harvesting, the grapes are then further selected to perform a cold maceration for 72 hours in small stainless steel tanks. A portion of the grapes are not crushed but carry out the whole berry fermentation. This allows more complex varietal aromas to transfer to the wine while at the same time preserving mineral notes linked to the terroir. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques and tonneaux of French oak, of which 50% are new, where the ageing continues for a further 18 months.

Tasting Notes:
Ruby red colour with great intensity and richness in colours. Complex aromatic varieties, with generous notes of tobacco and hints of black currant, blackberry and liquorice. Great balance, silky and firm tannins, long-lasting taste and aromas. An excellent wine that improves with ageing.
