Domaine Bernard Rion (正式名稱 Domaine Armelle et Bernard Rion),由 Pierre Rion 於 1896 年在 Vosne-Romanée 創立,至今已傳承五代。酒莊曾由 Bernard Rion 與妻子 Armelle 共同經營,如今則由 Armelle 與三位女兒 Nelly、Alice 和 Mélissa 接手,延續家族的釀酒傳統。

葡萄園分布於夜丘(Côte de Nuits)最享負盛名的產區,包括 Vosne-Romanée、Chambolle-Musigny、Nuits-Saint-Georges 及 Vougeot,出產村級、一級園及特級園的佳釀。部分葡萄藤樹齡已逾百年,酒莊對土地管理格外謹慎,長年不使用農藥或除草劑,並於 2019 年獲得 HVE(Haute Valeur Environnementale)最高級別 3 級環境認證。

Domaine Bernard Rion (officially Domaine Armelle et Bernard Rion) was founded in 1896 by Pierre Rion in Vosne-Romanée and has been handed down through five generations. For many years, Bernard Rion and his wife Armelle guided the estate; today, Armelle and their three daughters—Nelly, Alice, and Mélissa—continue the family’s winemaking tradition with passion and dedication.

The vineyards lie in some of the most prestigious appellations of the Côte de Nuits, including Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Vougeot, producing wines that span village, premier cru, and grand cru levels.

With vines over a century old, the family takes exceptional care of their land, avoiding pesticides and herbicides for decades. In recognition of their sustainable practices, the estate has held the highest Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE Level 3) certification since 2019.

Vinification:

Manual harvest. The destemming of the grapes is gentle so as to not crush the fruit. Natural fermentation takes about 10 days in cement vats. The wine is aged for 12-15 months in French oak barrels (40% new). 

Tasting note:
Very aromatic with its fragrances: fruity (raspberry) and spicy (clove and white pepper). A feminine wine, delicate and velvety on the palate.
(Recommended aging: 2-10 years)
