品酒筆記:

它展現軟滑、像絲絨、幼細的氣泡,頗為深的稻草黃色,帶點金色點綴。它的忌廉質感的香氣,帶有花卉、蛋糕、四小甜點、牛油和金銀蜜糖的味道。口感像絲質的花卉,配合成熟得非常好的水果、酵母和牛角包,並有足夠豐富度支撐。

 

The handsome mansion, the elegant figure of Berlucchi, and the ancient underground cellars had inspired Ziliani, who had glimpsed the possibility of realising his boyhood dream of producing a bottle-refermented sparkling wine. Berlucchi accepted the challenge, and in 1961 three thousand bottles of Pinot di Franciacorta were corked up.

The timeless elegance of the Palazzo Lana Berlucchi, the handsome mansion that inspired the first Franciacorta,  is present once again in these vintage-dated Franciacortas. Produced from free-run must, and rare both in quantity and quality, the three are bound together by a common thread of gracefulness, complexity, and avoidance of excess, each wine dedicated to those who enjoy them thoughtfully.

Vinification:
Made largely from the free-run must, obtained by a gentle, gradual pressing. Initial and malolactic fermentation are oak barriques, where it matures sur lie for 6 months.

Ageing:
Minimum 72 months on the yeast.

Tasting Notes:
It displays a soft, velvety mousse, a delicate, refined bead, and a fairly intense straw-yellow with subtle gold highlights. Intense straw yellow with subtle gold highlights. Its creamy-textured bouquet shows a lovely weave of floral notes and fragrances of cakes, petite fours, butter, and acacia honey. A silken florality complements almost tactile impressions of well-ripened fruit, yeast, and croissants, supported by good sapidity.
