Cotswolds Distillery誕生於2014 年，坐落在Cotswolds鄉村起伏的群山之中。創辦人Dan 是土生土長的紐約人和威士忌鑑賞家，他從倫敦搬到Cotswolds，當他看到家外面的金色大麥田，突然靈機一觸：“Cotswolds到處都是大麥，但沒人蒸餾，我們來成為第一個吧！”
這款威士忌採用100% 當地種植的大麥，以傳統方法在地板發麥。在定制的銅鍋蒸餾兩次。它是Cask Expressions系列的一員，用泥煤四分之一桶熟成，比一般木桶細小得多。

Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery was born in 2014. The founder, Dan, a native New Yorker and whisky connoisseur, had moved to the Cotswolds from London. He saw the fields of golden barley around his house and had a brainwave ‘there’s barley all over the Cotswolds and nobody’s distilling it, let’s be the first!’
The whisky is traditionally made using 100% locally grown, floor-malted barley from the Cotswolds and being distilled twice in the bespoke copper pot stills.
The Peated Cask Single Malt Whisky is part of Cask Expressions Collection, which is aged for full term maturation in ex-peated quarter casks, which are much smaller than the standard whisky cask.

A delightful and moreish cask strength single malt with subtle hints of peat smoke on the palate which complement the vanilla notes from the oak and the fruitiness of the single malt spirit. Think 'smoky vanilla ice cream', as the distillers like to describe it!
