Henri Giraud是最古老的香檳酒莊之一。由Giraud-Hémart家族擁有,他們自 1625 年以來一直在Aÿ種植葡萄。
酒莊的葡萄園均位於Aÿ,是香檳區少有的17個被列為特級園(Grand Cru)的村莊之一。
使用橡木是Henri Giraud的一大特色。它是少數在橡木中進行第一次發酵的酒莊(Krug是另一個例子)。橡木桶取自當地Argonne森林、紋理緊密的優質樹木,讓香檳別具個性、礦物感和活力。
MV 17代表Multi-Vintage 2017:即是以 2017 這年份為基礎,並混合了自1990年以來數個年份的儲備酒 (Reserve wine)。

Henri Giraud is the oldest Champagne house. It has been owned by the the Giraud-Hémart family who have farmed vines in Aÿ since 1625.

All the estate vineyards are located in Aÿ, is one of the rare 17 villages to be classified as Grand Cru in the Champagne region.
Use of oak is a feature of Henri Giraud.  It is one of the few houses that conduct primary fermentations in oak (Krug is another example). The oak barrels are locally sourced from the high quality, tight-grained trees of Argonne forest, which results in Champagne of unique personality, minerality and energy.
MV 17 stands for Multi-Vintage 2017: a blend of several vintages from a perpetual reserve since 1990 with the dominant base of the 2017 vintage.

This is so precise and tight with sharp acidity and very fine, tiny bubbles. Yet, it’s rich in flavors with a broad array of hazelnuts, salted lemons, crushed chalk and hints of wild herbs and flowers. White grapefruit, too. Textured and sleek, almost creamy, while remaining mouthwateringly fresh.
