In 2006, it was named the "Best Sherried Whisky" in the Single Malt World Cup
Glenfarclas distillery is a one of the few still privately owned distilleries in Scotland, owned by the Grant family for five generations. The distillery has the largest still on Speyside and are heated by gas burners to express more flavours.
Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is matured in 100% Oloroso sherry cask which is an excellent introduction to the sherried whisky. A great accompaniment to smoke salmon and iberico ham.
