於甚有貴族氣息的莊園內,一所由 Cantemerle 家族擁有的新派古典建築,內藏優質葡萄酒伴以崇高自尊。這個建築群,與酒莊其他建築物甚為和諧,但也包括頂級工藝技術。在內有三個溫度調控發酵缸,總容量 8000 hL,還有木桶室、不鏽鋼缸室和混凝土缸室,再鄰接全空氣調節酒窖。

令人驚歎、極深的紅色,是典型的優質年分代表。香氣有點保守,但仍然清脆,單寧絲滑,給予優雅和順滑的味道,展現酒莊的風土。收結充滿香味,十分仔細的結構伴以新鮮度。十分優質的經典產區,也需要一點耐性,在享用前兩小時醒酒。 (2005)


Lining a majestic courtyard, its beautiful neo-Classical architecture bears witness to the high esteem in which wine has been held by the successive owners of Cantemerle. These lovely buildings, in perfect harmony with the rest of the estate, nonetheless contain state-of-the-art technology. They are home to three temperature-controlled vat rooms with a total capacity of 8000 hl, a wooden vat room of 3400 hl for old vines, a 2200-hl stainless steel vat room mainly used for young vines, and a 2400-hl cement vat used for blending. The adjoining cellars ,all air-conditioned, are home to 2000 barrels.

Total destemming.The grapes are hand-sorted before crushing. Fermentation for 6-8 days at 26 -28°C. Maceration for 28 -30 days

12 months in french oak barrels (medium toast) which 50% are new

Tasting Notes:
A superbly brilliant, deeply pronounced red color typical of a great vintage. Its aromas are still a bit reserved, but crisp, silky tannins give the palate an elegance and smoothness characteristic of Cantemerle’s terroir. The finish displays opulent aromas, a very delicate structure and great freshness. A great classic which deserves patience, or two hours’ decanting before serving.  (2005)
