Château Giscours, located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, is a prestigious estate classified as a Third Growth in 1855. Its history dates back to 1330, when records mentioned the noble house of “Guyscoutz.” Through the centuries, visionary proprietors have enlarged the vineyard and built Château Giscours into a benchmark of excellence, with the Albada Jelgersma family continuing this tradition today.
Château Giscours believes that great wine comes from harmony between the land, the vines, nature’s rhythms, and the people who care for them. Guided by this spirit, the estate is committed to sustainable viticulture, with half of its vineyard organically cultivated, preserving balance and respecting both the land and its community.
