Immich-Batterieberg 是 Mosel 最具歷史的酒莊之一，自 1425 年由 Immich 家族創立及掌舵，直至 1989 年。2009 年由才華洋溢的釀酒師 Gernot Kollmann 及夥伴接手復興。
Kollmann 擅長釀造出色的 dry 和 off-dry Riesling。他堅持減少人為干預，不加糖，不濃縮，不去酸，僅在裝瓶前添加少量硫。喝來結構嚴謹，酸度平衡且極具生命力。
Detonation 是一款有趣的 Dry Riesling。它不是來自單一地塊，而是 Gernot 從不同區域的優質陡坡葡萄園，精心提選而成的跨村混釀，包括名園 Dhroner Hofberg (1868 年普魯士分級中的最高級，地位等同 Grand Cru)，以及 Saar Valley 的老藤葡萄 ─ 大部份達 40-60 年以上，以入門級的 Riesling 來說實屬罕見。

2021 Detonation 爆發力十足，極具表現力。Riesling 源於 40 年老藤，生長於 3 個土壤貧瘠的葡萄園，展現出豐富的生命力。口感強勁而纖細，富有礦石風味，加上點點鹹感，非常誘人。2021 年比 2020 年輕盈一點，只有 11% 的酒精，與所有海鮮堪稱絕配。
Immich-Batterieberg is one of the most historic estates in the Mosel. Founded and helmed by the Immich family since 1425 (until 1989), it was revived in 2009 by the talented winemaker Gernot Kollmann and his partners.
Kollmann crafts outstanding dry and off-dry Rieslings with minimal intervention—no sugar, concentration, de-acidification, or chemical fining, only a touch of sulfur before bottling. The wines are precise, vibrant, and show impressive aging potential.
Detonation is an intriguing dry Riesling. Rather than coming from a single vineyard, it is a carefully assembled cross-village blend that Gernot sourced from outstanding steep-slope sites, including the renowned Dhroner Hofberg (classified at the highest level in the 1868 Prussian vineyard classification) and old-vine parcels in the Saar Valley. Most of the vines are 40–60 years old, which is remarkably rare for an estate-level Riesling.

The 2021 Detonation is explosive and expressive. He comes from 40-year-old vines from 3 plots with very poor soil. Powerful and yet slim on the palate, equipped with all the finesse. Seductive on the palate with the finest mineral slate play, salty, expressive. The 2021 is only marginally lighter than the phenomenal 2020, has only 11% alcohol and has a mineral lingering on the palate! Perfect with everything comes from the sea.
