The story of the winery started in 1954, when Italo Cescon, having finished his military service, decided to follow the path taken by his grandfather Domenico, a wine producer in the lands of Raboso del Piave. Shortly thereafter, the "Italo Cescon" winery was born in 1957.
The winery is now led by Italo's children, Gloria, Graziella and Domenico, modern interpreters of ancient traditions -- cherish the value of time, care and work, and respects the land, nature and authenticity. Today they manage six estates falling under the denominations of Piave, Friuli and Valdobbiadene with vineyards of 115 hectares. In 2005 they joined the research group "Organic Wine Project" aiming to have a better tomorrow.
Madre means mother, the blue color is the same as the eyes of the owners' mum Chiara. The label expresses the notion of a hug with a graphic sign in relief. The wine is a certified organic Bianco del Veneto. An elegant grape, Manzoni Bianco, that has revealed a new face in its simplicity and naturalness, rich in flavours and aromas. A glass that makes us feel at home.

Vinification:
Hand harvest in September. Long soft pressing of whole, manually loaded grapes, followed by fermentation in concrete and then in wood. Maturation up to March on the yeasts, aging in bottle for at least one year.

Bright straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights. On the nose elegant and generous with a typical strong aroma. Scents of yellow peaches, acacia, lime peel and aromatic herbs that give way to mineral and salty hints with aging. The sensation on the palate is of vitality and vivacious elegance enhanced by freshness. Well-balanced with good acidity and embracing softness. Wine that lasts well.

A scented nose with fresh fennel and white almond on top of the lemon citrus. Zesty and bright on the palate with a mouthwatering quality to the medium-bodied palate. Zingy and succulent finish. From organically grown grapes.
Food Pairing:
Delightful with fish and seafood. Very good also with white meat, salami and herbal cheese.
