Founded in 1823, Mortlach holds the distinction of being the first licensed distillery in Dufftown, a region now renowned as the "Malt Whisky Capital of the World."
While often used in blending premium whiskies, its distinctive character shines through in its limited single malt releases.
The heart of Mortlach's character lies in its complex and meticulous 2.81 times distillation process, known as "The Way". Mortlach 18-year-old - York House, is a revival of a bespoke whisky created in the 1930s for the "York House Club" at Macy's department store in New York City.
