Blanc de Lynch-Bages is the signature white wine of Château Lynch-Bages, a 5th Classified Growth of Pauillac. First released in 1990, it was one of the earliest white wines produced by a Grand Cru Classé estate in the Médoc. Located on the historic Bages plateau overlooking the Gironde estuary, the estate is managed by the Cazes family and renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation.
This elegant white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (60%), Sémillon (27%), and Muscadelle (13%), grown across 5.5 hectares of carefully selected plots. Around 75% of the juice is fermented in temperature-controlled oak barrels with regular lees stirring, while the rest is vinified in stainless steel to preserve freshness. After six months of aging, the wine is bottled with a refined balance of fruit and structure.
On the nose, it reveals aromas of citrus, white peach, and subtle floral notes. The palate is vibrant and well-rounded, with a touch of minerality on the finish—an expressive and graceful example of Bordeaux white winemaking.

A pretty white with lots of depth and length. Medium-bodied with a creamy texture and notes of lemon rind, sliced mangoes and peaches. Velvety phenolics give form and balance.

The 2023 Blanc de Lynch-Bages possesses a lemony bouquet of citron oil, lemongrass, spring flowers and a lactic touch, which can be attributed to its recent bottling. Juicy and fresh, it is moderately weighted with a phenolic texture and a long, mouthwatering finish with a somewhat musky-inflected aftertaste due to the presence of Muscadelle.
