For five generations, Domaine Rion was founded in 1896 by Pierre Rion in Vosne Romanee. Now Bernard Rion, his wife Armelle and their daughters manage the Domaine.
The vineyards are located in some of the most prestigious villages of the Cote de Nuits: Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits Saint Geroges and Vougeot. Thus producing a wide range of offerings, including Village, 1st Cru and Grand Cru appellations. With some of the vines are already over 100 years old, they work their vineyards with careful consideration for the land. No pesticides or herbicides have been used for many years, and they have been HVE certified to the highest level (3) since 2019.

Vinification:
Manual harvest. Direct pressing and transfer to French oak barrels for fermentation. Aged in barrels for 12-15 months, with regular stirring of the lees.
Tasting note:
The elegant aromas reveal notes of white flowers, peach and vanilla. In the mouth, a light minerality and a lovely roundness give it a fine, well-balanced finish.
