Saint-Emilion的釀酒師Jean-Marie Carrille於1967年購入了酒莊Château Poupille，於1989年交給兒子Philippe Carille(第五代)掌舵。
Poupille位於波爾多以東的Sainte Colombe，距離Saint-Emilion 約10公里。葡萄園由平均樹齡35年的老藤組成，它們生長於向南的山頂。 在當地方言中，Poupille 的意思就是山的盡頭。
Poupille 是酒莊的頂級特釀。

葡萄藤樹齡超過40年，人手採收，野生酵母天然發酵。在橡木桶陳年3年，60%新桶，40%是3年陳舊木桶。
品酒筆記：
紅寶石色澤。香氣濃郁，散發出黑果、雪松木和香料的氣息。口感柔順、圓潤，有Merlot的經典性格。良好的結構，單寧柔順，餘韻悠長。
Winemaker in Saint-Emilion, Jean-Marie Carrille purchased Château Poupille in 1967 and gave the management to his son Philippe Carrille in 1989, fifth generation of wine producers. Poupille is located East of Bordeaux, 6 miles away from Saint-Emilion in Sainte Colombe. The estate is composed of old vines aged 35 years old in average. The vines face south at the top of hills. In local dialect, Poupille means « end of the hill ».
Poupille is the top cuvee produced on this appellation.

Harvesting : Thinning-out of the leaves, green harvest and manual harvesting with selective picking and sorting table.
Vinification:
Merlot from 40-year-old vines. Hand harvest, fermentation with natural yeast. The aging process takes place in 100% oak barrels with 60% new, and 40% in 3 years old oak barrels.
Tasting notes:
Intense ruby color, a very expressive nose with notes of black fruits, spices and cedar. On the palate, it is supple, round, typical of Merlot. The tannins are silky and the structure is balanced. Nice persistence in the final.
