History

In 1785, Ludwig van Beethoven teaches the children in the von Breuning family of the same age as a young piano teacher and close friend of the family. Daughter Eleonore becomes Beethoven's first love and he dedicates a number of pieces to her including the opera Fidelio, and the Violin Concerto in D to her brother Stephan von Breuning.

To commemorate the history of the family, two of their Riesling Sparkling Wines are named "LUDOVICO" Brut and "ELEONORE" halbtrocken(off-dry).

Tasting Notes:
ELEONORA Riesling Sekt off-dry is an elegant Riesling sparkling wine which offers full fruitiness and a very fine mousseux. Aromas of golden apple with a hint of honey. Due to its harmoniously integrated minerality and perfect balance of acidity and fruity sweetness, this sekt is in no way “overly sweet” but is lively as both an aperitif and for accompanying meals.
