於Costers del Segre的Pyrenees分區,Raul Bobet於海拔1,000米的Talarn村釀造驚為天人的葡萄酒。產品皆以梵文或以葡萄生長的地方命名。時至今日,大部分酒都於12世紀的石窖中發酵,當大家看見它時便會相信,過程並不是最重要,最重要的是非常出色的結果,因為這是近來最令人振奮的西班牙酒莊。而Raul Bobet也是有份負責Ferrer Bobet酒莊的人,在那裡他與葡萄酒發燒友Sergi Ferrer-Salat合作,展現出1000米高山的獨特風味。

酒精度9.76%、高酸度(9克)、低 pH(2.84!),未發酵的糖分約33克。看此數值,就知道酸度可以抵消糖分,以一種非常德國的方式地平衡。它內斂、優雅、古典而平衡,具有極大的陳年潛力。與酒糟一起陳年約10個月後裝瓶,2019年6月裝瓶,僅1,500瓶。

色:猶如稻草的淡黃色。
香:清新的西柚與淡淡的桃子香味。
味:未成熟的杏子味道,帶有一絲鹹味,餘韻悠長。寒冷天氣下的Rieslings會逐漸在瓶內成長,與酸度融合。


Raul Bobet’s groundbreaking wines from the Pyrenees subzone of the Costers del Segre appellation, are produced in the village of Talarn at 1,000 meters altitude. The wines are named with Sanskrit words or after the places where grapes are grown. Nowadays most of the wines are fermented in the 12th century stone lagares from the property. It has to be seen to be believed. However, the process is not the most important thing, what is really important is that the results are superb. These are some of the most exciting new wines throughout Spain. And Bobet, the ex-Torres enquiring mind, is also responsible for the breathtaking Priorats from the Ferrer-Bobet winery, his joint venture with entrepreneur and wine lover Sergi Ferrer-Salat.

The sweet white 2018 Ekam Essencia was produced with Riesling grapes that in Germany would be classified between Kabinett and Spätlesse, with little botrytis (only "clean") trying to avoid the kerosene notes.

Tasting Notes:

It has 9.76% alcohol, high acidity (nine grams), low pH (2.84!) and some 33 grams of unfermented sugar. With those parameters, the acidity offsets the sugar, and the wine comes through as balanced in a very Germanic wayIt's shy, elegant, classical and balanced, with huge aging potential. It was bottled after 10 months in tank with the lees. 1,500 bottles were filled in June 2019.

Colour:  Light straw yellow
Nose: Fresh grapefruit notes, with light notes of peach. Incipient short chain notes of hydrocarbons.
Palate: Unripe apricot notes with a farily salty finish. Very long aftertaste. This wine will develop in the bottle all the complexity of cold weather Rieslings, always followed by an integrated acidity.
