2019 年的 Batar,50% Chardonnay加50% Pinot Blanc,帶來了異國情調,當中混合了陳皮、菠蘿、香料和熱情果的芳香。具陳年潛質,隨時日將邁向更精緻的風格。


Giuseppe (Pepito) Castiglioni – an industrial entrepreneur and lifelong wine lover – bought a single hectare of vineyard on a Tuscan hillside and set about creating an estate. He dreamed of producing elegant, rich wines, made not only from native Sangiovese grapes, but also the International grapes.
Pepito’s son, Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni, converted the estate to organic viticulture in 1988, which was the first Italian winery to employ this practice. Today, the vineyards are run by biodynamics approach and expand to more than 100 hectares, which throughout Chianti Classico and in Maremma. Their wines receive high score and award-winning, which they always say the real secret is in the soil. 
The name Querciabella means beautiful oak, and the vineyards have grown along these wonderful trees.

The 2019 Batar, 50% Chardonnay/50% Pinot Blanc, offers up an exotic melange of tangerine peel, pineapple, spice and passionfruit. The move towards a more refined style here has paid off big-time.
