由Kabinett順序(果香細緻清新),到Spatlese(比較厚同複雜) 同Auslese(最複雜亦最濃厚)!

How about the complicated German words ranging from Auslese, Spatlese to Kabinett?

It actually talks about the harvest time of the grapes, "Kabinett" means the grapes are harvested at typical time, generally elegant and refreshing, good for aperitif. "Spatlese" means late harvest, while "Auslese" means very late harvest. The wine will be more concentrated. But it does not mean it is sweeter!

Wineries can make dry wines with late harvest grapes. So what you have to do is pay attention to the "Trocken" (dry) or "Halbtrocken (off-dry) words. If nothing is written, just base on the harvest time to choose your beloved sweetness!
