"有時候農村人嘅純樸性格，直接得可愛，簡單得令人佩服。"
家庭式經營嘅酒莊喺09年遭逢巨變，酒莊主人Jean-Luc突然離世，遺下妻子同年幼女兒。但就係呢個時候，作為堂兄弟嘅Jacques不加思索就決定拍心口揹起整個酒莊，照顧堂兄遺孀同女兒。
自此之後一路過住“一腳踢”嘅釀酒生活，日曬雨淋，就連打單宣傳等等都自己一人負責。咁辛苦為左咩？只係為左將家族160年釀酒基業，傳承到堂兄嘅遺孤手上。換轉係其他人，未必人人願意犧牲自由，去揹起原本同自己無關嘅沉重責任。但係呢個世界就係有一種真男人，願意不問結果去做佢認為該做嘅事！

“I’m winemaker, I’m owner of my land, I vinified and bottling my wine”
The family-owned small winery faced a tragedy in 2009, when its owner Jean-Luc passed away suddenly, leaving his wife and young daughter. At this crisis, Jean’s cousin Jacques decided to shoulder the burdens of managing this small winery, and the living of his niece and her mother. From winemaking to contacting clients to promotions, he all worked on his own. What’re all these efforts for? Just to inherit the 160 years of winemaking technique to his young niece.
It is not easy to sacrifice one's freedom to take a burden which is not so related to this person. But in this world, there is a kind of men, who never ask for the result and do what he thinks he should do. Behind the elegance and minerality of the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, maybe you can see a real man💪. If you ask Jacques why he’s willing to take all these burdens, he may just smiled “it's men's duty to shoulder heavy burdens!”
